I am so sorry for the loss of this person. I lost a friend in high school. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through. I will definately remember everyone in my prayers!

Oh...I'm so sorry. My daughter lost one of her best friends when she was a Sophmore, and her boyfriend when she was a Junior. It's a very difficult thing.
My prayers will be for the families students, and you. Please take care....

About three weeks ago, we got a call that my 14 yr old son was on his way to the hospital after falling while snowboarding. They told us he was okay, but we raced up to the mountains (he was with his ski group) and over four hours later were so thankful that he walked out to the car with us with a minor concussion, some short term memory loss and a scraped up face (he fell on his face). . .
My heart is bleeding for this boy & his family. My prayers are with them.

Elle, I am so sorry! My brother's friend died when we were in high school (and all in the same class). My brother and I were devastated. People in your school will respond in all different ways. One girl who sat with me at lunch started telling me how much she hated him and was glad he died ; I calmly explained to her that my brother was his best friend, he was at our home only a few days before his death, and was one of the nicest people I knew. Just know that for the next few weeks or months, things might be sensitive at school. Some people will be angry, others sad. Hopefully your school will offer counseling for his friends and anyone who needs to talk. Take care!
